ACCOUNTANT (General Ledger)

Responsibilities

  • Manage month end closing timeline and perform month end closing procedures as well as necessary GL adjustments/reclassifications.
  • Review and submit monthly financial statement to the Management.
  • Execute annual close and ensure all year-end Balance Sheet figures carry over to the following year and all P&L figures transfer to Retain Earnings.
  • Manage and execute Treasury and payroll interfaces on a timely basis ensure all data are accurate and reconcile with HR schedule and Treasury market reports.
  • Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliation and advise our subsidiaries of the variance detail and adjustment needed for month end closing.
  • Manage the SAP system administration (e.g. make changes to COA).
  • Review and analyse monthly P&L/OPEX against budget and provide variance report.
  • Review bank reconciliations
  • Review daily cash reconciliation, void receipt verification, refund of customer deposit, bank reconciliation and AR aging
  • Review voucher clearing & deferred income
  • Any other duties as assigned.

CONTRACT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review oil and gas sale and purchase contracts and confirmation.
  • Submit contracts and relevant emails for internal approval.
  • Send contracts/counters and follow up with counterparties timely.
  • Negotiate/confirm trading contract terms with counterparties.
  • Maintain trading contract files.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in any discipline (Business Administration, Shipping or Legal-related majors are preferred).
  • Preferably with 2 years of contract drafting experience (LNG/oil industry/physical/derivatives contracts preferred). Applicants without prior experience are welcome to apply.
  • Good knowledge of international trading terms, i.e. Incoterms 2020.
  • Good drafting skills, good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, high organizational standards and accuracy in dealing with contract documentation.

DATA ANALYST

Job Overview:

A data programmer who works closely with our Analysts to develop in-house databases and analytical models that improve the efficiency, accuracy, and delivery of our data and analysis, which ultimately help business groups and management make strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Analysts to identify valuable datasets and to automate data collection and processing.
  • Design and develop database based on analysis needs.
  • Able to use machine learning to build new analytical models and enhance existing models.
  • Convert excel-based forecasting models to python-based models.
  • Develop and enhance appropriate data visualizations to demonstrate the market analysis.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Min a Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min 2 years relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Familiar with machine learning.
  • Experience in data visualization such as PowerBI and Tableau is preferred.
  • Energy sector knowledge or data research experience is a plus.

HEALTH, SAFETY, SECURITY & ENVIRONMENT (HSSE) EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as company appointed Safe Management Officer, ensure daily reports are accurate and kept up to date.
  • Conduct trainings and perform duties as company appointed SGSecure representative for security related matters.
  • Conduct site inspections and trainings to ensure compliance in HSE, security and emergency response.
  • Review and conduct Emergency Response & Crisis Management Plans to ensure effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with line functions and participate in project safety reviews, risk assessments and pre-startup safety reviews.
  • Participate in incident investigations, review incident report and recommend effective mitigation measures.

Requirements

  • Degree in HSSE related subject, Engineering, Science or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from the oil & gas, offshore & Marine, manufacturing, automation or engineering construction industry

LEGAL EXECUTIVE / LEGAL COUNSEL

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal services and support to Trading businesses.
  • To prepare, review and advise on contracts and other legal matters, as required.
  • Negotiate and resolve disputes in relation to Trading and other businesses.
  • Maintain compliance with laws and internal regulations with regards to Trading and other businesses.
  • Monitor and keep abreast of any changes in the law and advise the Management on the impact of such on the business and operations, recommend strategies and solutions for compliance when necessary.

Requirements

  • Possess a good LLB degree from a recognized university.
  • Min 1 year of legal experience.
  • Post-Qualified Experience with litigation background be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of trade & shipping law will be an added advantage.

OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE (LPG)

Responsibilities

  • Pass on cargo nomination timely & accurately.
  • Liaise with terminal and counterparties to ensure timely product loading.
  • Review and counter contracts based on deal recap.
  • Ensure all the trade finance & billing are in good order.
  • Liaise with shipping team on suitable vessel for FOB purchase deals, and do vessel vetting and get acceptance from suppliers and end users.
  • Manage demurrage calculation with owner and counterparties.
  • Check and update the operations data in the system for analysis and reporting.
  • Handle ad-hoc responsibilities as delegated by the LPG trading team.

 

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Petrochemical, Chemical, Business, Shipping, Logistics or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in oil/petroleum industry.
  • Good understanding of energy markets.
  • Good knowledge of shipping documents & L/C.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

SENIOR/ACOUNTANT (Management Reporting)

Responsibilities 

  • Prepare monthly management reports at the consolidation level, including business unit P&L analysis and variance analysis.
  • Facilitate the reviews of management reports prepared by team members.
  • Work closely with business units and services units to collate data for financial review and forecast.
  • Perform budgetary control functions, coordinate annual budget meetings, and summarize detailed budget reports for Management’s review and comment.

SETTLEMENT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with counterparties/bankers for Import and Export issuance.
  • Handle accounts receivable and payable for physical products trading deals.
  • Liaise with bankers for Letters of Credit (LC) negotiation, documents preparation and submission.

SOFTWARE APPLICATION ENGINEER/DEVELOPER (.NET)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze process/program specifications & translate specifications to program codes, conforming to program guidelines and programming best practices.
  • Make changes to configurable items, which include software, documentation, etc. It covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits.
  • Develop unit test package, execute tests & document test results to ensure the quality of the program.
  • Assist in the integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT) & implementation activities to fix the reported problems/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in the production environment.
  • Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and analysis; work with Business Analysts in reviewing and refining functional specifications.
  • Other relevant software development tasks or duties assigned as part of PCSG IT Application Team.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related studies.
  • At least 2-3 years of software and application development & support experience as a developer and s/w designer with substantial know-how and hands-on experience in areas of work such as (but not limited to): –
    1. Software Application programming using .NET languages (C#, VB .NET) with knowledge of SQL and working with databases, API and other systems interfaces in the implementation of web, desktop or mobile applications.
    2. Experience in test automation and functional testing
    3. Develop and execute manual test cases and automation scripts
    4. Hands-on experience in Web, Mobile and API based testing
    5. Experience on Web, Mobile & API automation tools (Selenium, Appium and Rest-Assured) & Experience on Devops and CIC.

SYSTEMS ANALYST ( ETRM/CTRM)

Responsibilities

  • Develop a sustainable IT support model based on ITSM in the roll out of EOS LNG CTRM in PCSG LNG trading space and provide Level 1 first line of systems support (troubleshooting, debugging, developing workaround solutions) to all Front, Mid, Back Office users of EOS.
  • Point person to process and evaluate EOS system change and enhancement requests; being able to develop new business models in the trading system, provide end-user systems training in EOS and other periphery trading applications.
  • Engage Singapore LNG trading users and IT BAs to create the required business use cases and technical documents to capture their system needs; define and design applications/functional/user interface requirement specifications, validate solutions from developers, create the respective testing plans & test cases and execute the respective unit/module/system testing & validation of results with appropriate documentation as part of global EOS CTRM Change Management process.
  • Acts as the IT liaison and point-of-technical contact between various LNG Trading IT in London, HQ , Singapore IT functions and vendors in a cross-matrix organization to drive stabilization and successful adoption of the EOS and support Singapore LNG Trading users to deliver “fit-for-purpose” solutions and business results with the use of IT.
  • Provide technical expertise in LNG trading domain to help bridge the trading needs of LNG users with other IT solutions partners in the delivery of transformative initiatives using deep technical and functional knowledge EOS CTRM system. Partner with other Singapore IT functions to initiate the development of value-adding supporting applications to the LNG trading system.
  • Assist Manager in active vendor management and ensure the operating support model of the related IT services are well within the agreed SLA metrics and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized institution in Singapore
  • Experienced LNG EOS CTRM Systems Analyst/Product Specialist with multi-years of hands-on experience in systems troubleshooting, diagnostics, configuration, operations and administration supporting the LNG commodity trading user group from Front office to Mid and Back office.
  • At least 3 – 5 years of Technical support experience in a fast-paced commodity trading environment especially in the energy sector with substantial know-how and active participation in areas of systems development projects & support work such as (but not limited to):-
    • Systems Analysis and Solutioning in the project delivery of a new CTRMS and subsequent system operations.
    • Level 1 and/or 2 support experience with excellent understanding of the business and systems processes in the entire value chain of a LNG trading.
  • Project and change management of IT systems using Agile and Scrum principles and processes; understanding ITSM framework with experience in incidence management software such as Remedy.
